Michael J. Fox jokes in an emotional Governors Awards: "'No Surrender' by Bruce Springsteen has always been my anthem, so it's not a big deal"

The Hollywood Academy celebrated last night the 13th edition of the Governors Awards in an emotional gala that served to honor such influential personalities in the film industry as actor

These honorary awards, held this year at the Fairmont Century Plaza hotel (Los Angeles, United States), also recognized the careers of director

The return to a great event organized by the Academy after the last Oscars, which will go down in history for Will Smith's slap to Chris Rock, had as a general tone a very emotional atmosphere in which at times tears of emotion were mixed with the applause of the guests at the ceremony.

The 13th edition of the Governors Awards also served to see how the Academy recognized the Californian composer Diane Warren, nominated up to 13 times for the Oscars, and who was finally able to collect her long-awaited statuette.
